After an extensive search, The Presbyterian Homes, Inc. and the Scotia Village Board of Trustees are announcing that Allen Johnson has been selected as the new Executive Director at Scotia Village.

Mr. Johnson joined Scotia Village as Director of Marketing in 2008, having previously worked in sales and the newspaper industry. In 2012, while continuing to serve in his Marketing capacity, he embarked on the Administrator in Training program and upon successful completion, was promoted to Assistant Director in March, 2013. He is a graduate of St. Andrews University.

“Allen has been a valued member of the staff for several years and will excel in his new role as Executive Director,” said Elizabeth Cooley, Chairperson of the Scotia Village Board of Trustees. “He has a tremendous rapport with the residents, staff, and Board.”

Allen and his wife, Meg, are active members of the Laurinburg community. “I am excited by this opportunity to serve Scotia Village in a larger way. Scotia Village has a lot of positive things happening and the future looks bright. I am looking forward to being a part of the future successes that this community will have,” says Johnson. He will assume the Executive Director responsibilities effective June 1, 2015.
