Friends Homes, Inc. has entered into a management services agreement with PHI Management Services, LLC.

After several years of discussion and strategic planning, the Board of Trustees of Friends Homes, Inc. and the Board of Governors of The Presbyterian Homes, Inc. approved this step that will allow PHI Management Services, LLC to provide management and marketing services for the communities owned by Friends Homes, Inc. PHI Management Services, LLC is wholly owned by The Presbyterian Homes, Inc. The agreement began on May 1.

Friends Homes, Inc. operates two Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) located in Greensboro, NC – Friends Homes at Guilford and Friends Homes West. Friends Homes Inc., was chartered in 1958 and enjoys a stellar reputation in the senior living industry. In accordance with Quaker principles, both communities provide, at reasonable cost, an environment which fosters independence and a sense of wholeness, health and security so that each resident may realize his or her full potential. Friends Homes, Inc. serves approximately 600 residents.

Similar to Friends Homes, Inc., The Presbyterian Homes, Inc. is also a non-profit multi-site CCRC provider with a strong faith-based history. Currently, The Presbyterian Homes, Inc. operates three communities within North Carolina: Scotia Village located in Laurinburg, which serves over 200 residents, Glenaire located in Cary, which serves nearly 400 residents, and River Landing at Sandy Ridge located in Colfax, which serves over 500 residents.
